Okay, so you volunteered or got nominated to write the newsletter - at first you thought, hey! this is great! But now you're thinking, what AM I going to put in this month's issue?!? Well, don't worry cuz, we're here to help.

• Recap the last meeting - you'd be surprised how many clubs don't do this in their newsletters. Be sure to include who won what door prizes, it tends to generate an approved attendance at the next meeting. <g> For those that couldn't make it to the meeting it helps or is nice to know what went on.

• Reveal the program for the next meeting - let members know what they can look forward to at the next meeting. Also nice if you'd like people to remember to bring something, etc. Can also mention - "exceptional door prizes" - gee, I'd be sure to be there, wouldn't you?

• Calendar of Events - I really like this idea! Club meeting/activity dates - Hallmark bonus point dates and details, club member birthdays, sponsor store's sales. I Love it!

• Secondary Market Show Info

• Hallmark Artist of the Month

• Club Member of the Month - great way to get to know each other, seems like it might be especially helpful to new members.

• Classified Ads from members - Looking for, selling, want to trade

• Decorating Ideas

• News about Members - upcoming birthday? having a baby? getting married? moving? Small town newspaper type section.

• News from the net - it may be old news to us with internet access, but chances are those that are "net less" haven't heard that rumor yet.
